Sometimes I feel confined but gotta realize that’s just
a state of mind because gravity wont let me be
you see
there’s simply certain levels of free
physical mental spiritual and actual
depending on the situation one or all are factual
and at that time, I take it to the max y’all
especially when I sing
the spaces I leave and the spaces it brings
freedom rings
from places that only are right then
I write a song and build a spaceship
and travel to where I’ve been
and maybe you’ve been
in a yesteryear stained with yester tears
a trip that jesters fear
and long to smile past
but alas
we never stand still.
